ClarityCheck.com charged my card $30 without my clear consent for a recurring subscription. I only intended to pay a small one-time fee for a phone search.

The site did not clearly disclose the auto-renewal terms, and when I tried to cancel, I received only automated responses. They refused to delete my stored payment data and asked for additional payment to "replace my card," which is a known fraud tactic. I never received a proper invoice or confirmation email.

My advice: Do not enter your real card details on this site. If you already did, contact your bank immediately to request a chargeback and block this merchant.

Use a virtual card with a strict spending limit for any online trials in the future.

For well over a month now, I have been trying to get my information (email and phone) removed from their search results (database). According to their privacy policy, I sent an email to them; well, about 20 emails later, and all I have got is the same repeated auto replies.

There might be some AI or auto-reply system they use, but they fail to actually do anything else except the auto replies.

during the past 4 months i have had reply from

newest is *** ( never sleeps ) who does nothing but repeat the same exact scripts

during the past 2 months i have had lies and excuses in addition to the script auto replies ( non stop)

at first the scripts read in summary " we are working to remove your information"

followed by a order claim that they claim you plaid or placed some order ( phishing i think), when asked for the order date, what the order was for, or the amount of the order they go silent ( very suspicious )

3rd line of script we dont "collect or share information"

oh uh...

silence again

4th script they dont know when the information will be used

4 months later same scripts

update 7 months and still getting lied to and repeated auto reply scripts

today june 30, 2026 i recieved a email stating in summary

that my information has been removed and they they "confirmed" it was removed ( 7 months of asking for it to be removed )

shocked i go and check and shocker! my information IS NOT removed as they claimed

i reply back stating the information is still showing

and on with more excuses

about a week or maybe 2 weeks ago the person who been "helping me" wink wink ( insert ignoring me) said i was being "transferred to another team" who would " be able to assist me better" ( new person is the one who sent the email this morning )

i guess new team is passing me to the person next to there cubicle
